Our Story
One inspiration behind the “Dark Horse” name is a tribute to a black mare named Alu, the first horse Tracy & Ashlynne of Dark Horse Therapeutics ever owned. The bond that grew between her and 8-year-old Ashlynne turned an interest into a lifestyle that brought unforgettable animals, people, and memories. She is still with the family, and with the help of PEMF therapy, is sound and healthy in her retirement at over 33 years of age.
Dark Horse can also refer to a person or thing that is less known, but unexpectedly wins or succeeds. It is the mission of Dark Horse Therapeutics to bring knowledge to their clients about noninvasive, drug free therapies that can have life changing results to humans and animals, making them a “dark horse” in life and in competition.
Ashlynne McKee
Ashlynne is a senior at Kalamazoo College majoring in psychology with a background in biology and chemistry. Along with being a certified MagnaWave PEMF practitioner, Ashlynne has had a lifetime of owning and loving animals. Ashlynne has shown horses for 15 years on many circuits including 4-h, MIHA, and the American Quarter Horse Association. Ashlynne is excited to support the health of animals and their owners!

Nickolas Carrier
Nickolas is fueled by his passion of understanding preventative health measures for people and animals as well as improving their overall wellness. He currently holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences and a Masters degree in Public Health & Epidemiology. Nick strives to pursue the intersection between technology and health to improve the quality of life for those in his community and their pets.

Tracy Brosseit
Tracy brings a lifetime of customer service, sales, and leadership to the team. In addition to being a certified MagnaWave PEMF practitioner, she is a graduate of Grand Valley State University with a degree in education. Tracy enjoys working hard and serving the community, but the best part of her day is the wagging tail that greets her when she gets home. Tracy is excited to mix her love of animals and people at Dark Horse Therapeutics.

Ace
Ace is the hardest working Dark Horse Therapeutics team member. He is always willing to ride along to appointments. He constantly advocates for company team building exercises such as hiking, swimming, and dining. Ace proudly endorses the brand, showing how PEMF therapy can keep large breeds, prone to chronic health issues, happy and healthy.
